Anne Lonam
Client Care Specialist
Anne and her husband, Dr. John Lonam, purchased Village Veterinary Clinic in 1987. After nearly 38 years of ownership, and 45 years in practice for her husband, they decided it was time to step back and sample retirement life. In August 2024 they sold Village Veterinary Clinic to Dr. Lokesh Motanam, aka Dr. Loki. While Dr. Lonam has fully retired, Anne continues to work part time and is a valuable source of information and knowledge as part of our client care team.
"Village Vet has been a huge part of my life for a long time. I would miss the friendships and camaraderie formed with staff and clients over many years, and in many cases, over decades. Working part time allows me the opportunity to sustain those relationships, as well as to meet new people, educate clients, dote on their pets, support Dr. Loki and co-workers, and stay informed regarding the veterinary profession. There is always something new to learn."
In "semi-retirement" Anne enjoys travelling, gardening, attending cultural events, skiing, swimming, hiking, kayaking, getting involved with community activities and more. Two "velcro" kitties and 3 noisy birds round out her household.
